I remember back when I lived in Israel, Every year in Hanukkah (a Jewish holiday & an excuse to eat a lot of fat!) all of the bakeries pull out trays of "Sufganiyot" aka doughnuts, they are quite a big deal!
The advertisement of Rladin's are on every building with luxurious Sufganiyot filled with exotic creams and held by fashion models.
I'm telling you we take our doughnuts quite seriously!
That means that A I know my doughnuts and B I tasted quite a few amazing doughnuts in my life, as well as quite a lot of bad ones hahaha.
with all of that being said I'm happy to tell you that the doughnuts in Baba Budan are above and beyond amazing!
Thier doughnuts are light, fluffy and well balanced, the fillings change daily and every one of the flavours I tried was incredible (Piña colada doughnut anyone?)
And they always have vegan options as well!
the store has a very pleasant and relaxing chic minimalistic aesthetic, and besides their doughnuts, they also serve seasonal changing brunch menu and great coffee.
they change the coffee blend every six to eight weeks from roasters all around the UK and Europe! that gives you the opportunity to discover new roasters and flavours!

Im always going back to the counter after finishing my doughnut to buy another one so be careful about that! (self-control is key here!!!)
I love how different cultures have their own special take on doughnuts! Sufganiyot sound absolutely delicious, especially with all those rich fillings. I’d love to enjoy one alongside a cup of Honduras coffee—sounds like the perfect treat!
