Gordon Street Coffee opened its doors at 2014 in the centre of Glasgow and now expanded into a new roastery in Edinburgh, they are 2 minutes walk from Waverley!

The coffee is roasted at the shop in small butches on there red Diedrich roaster (and yes, the smell from this place is incredible!) and if I'm not wrong they have 21 different blends and origins! They even offer Honey processed coffee! (if you’re into speciality coffee you’d be geeking about it as well)
All of the baristas are very friendly and highly knowledgeable and the atmosphere in the roastery is always positive and welcoming.
It’s my personal favourite place to get an iced Oatly latte, and their espresso is absolutely perfect.
I really like the Edinburgh roast blend, it's well balanced and quite chocolaty with very pleasant low acidity.
(all of the takeaway cups are plastic-free, made from plant starch and 100% compostable )
On top of that, they are the only place in Edinburgh that stock the multiple awards winning truffles of Iain Burnett, I highly recommend the black velvet truffle(Gold Winner in World Finals of International Chocolate Awards 2015 for Unflavoured Dark Chocolate Truffle )
its made out of single-origin chocolate from the volcanic island of São Tomé in the South Atlantic and fresh Scottish cream from a particular herd of cows!
